Alison past the finishing line
Our senior member, Alison Relf, managed a hearty 5km jog around a beautiful lake in Dorney, Berkshire - the venue for last year's World Rowing Championships and the forthcoming 2012 Olympics.
Ali and her best school mate raised £1000 at the regional "Race for Life" event which saw 3500+ women all running/walking in the name of Breast Cancer research.
"We were a little slower than when we were 11 at school sports day but managed 5km in 40 minutes and were proud! Thanks to all sponsors!"
